Last Stock Pick For 2006

I hope all of you have had a good year investing.  According to my stats at the Marketocracy site, I’ve had a 28% return over this last 12 months.

My last pick for the year is Cutter & Buck, Inc. (CBUK)–which designs and markets golf and other sportswear apparel.  I haven’t always done that well in the past with clothing stocks, but have decided it is time to give them a try again.  Revenue and earnings have really been shooting up for the company, yet their P/E ratio is still lower than average.

Happy Investing in 2007!

Another Stock Pick

This time I’m going with Jewett-Cameron Trading Ltd (JCTCF), which is in the lumber/seed/pneumatic air tools (?!) business.

I had a really tough time passing up Alliance Bankshares Corp (ABVA), and may revisit them at a later time.

I’ve been having an incredible run in the market of late–those of you who actually pay attention to these picks may have noticed that.   I’m up almost 25% this year versus less than 15% for the Dow and the S&P 500 (and about 11% for NASDAQ).

Happy Investing!
